De ce Retailbook?

Cumparatorii se plictisesc mai repede decat consumatorii. Asta am invatat dupa 10 ani de retail. Ce ne face sa cumparam? Cum devine un comerciant mai interesant decat ceilalti? sunt intrebari la care ne putem raspunde daca suntem aproape de business si cu simtul realitatii.

De ce ne este frica de cumparator/consumator?

Odata cu criza economica a inceput si o explozie a informatiei si a educarii consumatorului/ cumparatorului. Acum 5-6 ani mesajele clientilor erau mai nepregatite si usor contestabile, acum insa si consumatorul si cumparatorul au acces la multa informatie, un abonament la internet poate costa si 20-30 de lei in retele de cartier, daca nu ai calculator, poti accesa informatia si de pe telefon, chiar si de pe telefoane care costa sub 15 de euro.

Exista campanii TV si radio care iti spun ca ai multe drepturi ca si consumator, imi place campania care ruleaza in perioada asta despre consumatorul european si care te invata ca nu mai are sens sa accepti asa usor un produs care nu e ceea ce promite ambalajul si instructiunile. Asadar si FMCG-ul si retailul au acum un client care e mai degraba un partener de business, asa trebuie tratat oricum, nu doar cineva care iti asigura o incasare . Clientul stie astazi exact ce inseamna ce scrii tu pe ambalaj (daca nu stie, are google), stie sa citeasca un regulament de campanie, stie sa sune la ANPC. Nu mai spun de celelalte domenii - auto, bancar, servicii, insa acestea nu prea sunt subiectul acestui blog.

L'hypermarche - un concepte francais

Comme aujourd'hui c'est le jour national de la France, je vous propose un petit essai sur l'hypermarche qui a ete defini en France et lance dans le format que l'on connait a present toutjours en France.

"En Belgique, Maurice Cauwe, met en place courant 1961 la première « usine de distribution » sous le nom « Super Bazar » 6. Ce point de vente sera repris par Carrefour plus tard.
Le premier hypermarché en France s'ouvre en 1963 dans la banlieue parisienne, à Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Essonne), par Carrefour. On évoque à l'époque le terme d'« usine de distribution ». Le mot « hypermarché » est utilisé plus tardivement. Situé en périphérie, il offre un vaste assortiment alimentaire et non-alimentaire en libre-service, dispose d'un vaste parking, avec 400 places, et d'une station-service où le prix du carburant ordinaire se veut compétitif."

En 1995 j'ai vu le premier hypermarche de ma vie en France, naturellement.. J'avais 18 ans, j'avais passe le bac et j'ai eu une chance inouie pour une modeste enfant de province d'une Roumanie qui venait de finir le communisme en 1989 de voir un tel experiment et surtout de voyager en France. A ce temps-la j'ai eu un vrai choque. Le premier a ete un Carrefour ou un Leclerc, apres j'ai vu d'autres.

Social Networks Conference, by Evensys, 11th July 2012




In a few days we could have the chance to be attendant of a very useful event developed by Evensys - Social Networks Conference. If you ask me what is the connection between this event and retail, I will tell you very simple: the customer / the consumer is using now social networks as first step of information before buying or consuming.

 In Romania they are over 5 millions of Facebook visitors, the level  of internet access at the end of 2011 is reaching 47% of the households vs. 42% in 2010, so a growing rate of internet access of 5%, higher than the European average of 3% ( from 70% in 2010 to 73% in 2011) - we are still on the last place in Europe, but the growing trend is the fastest and this you can see on Eurostat. We, people working in retail., still have a great chance to be a pioneer in this area. Being  in online and chating with your customers trough social media it is not a joke, but a way to make additional money for your business. Trough Social Media your customers have more comfort to communicate with you, the retailer, but also to recommend your store to other possible customers or actual non-recommender customers. Just trough a cute comment on Facebook or a short post on Twitter, hundred of people can find out how amazing was a customer's experience in your store.
