De ce Retailbook?
Cumparatorii se plictisesc mai repede decat consumatorii. Asta am invatat dupa 10 ani de retail. Ce ne face sa cumparam? Cum devine un comerciant mai interesant decat ceilalti? sunt intrebari la care ne putem raspunde daca suntem aproape de business si cu simtul realitatii.

Consumer/ shopper
We talk about consumers or shoppers, sometimes we don't pay attention what we use in our discussions. In fact, every shopper is a consumer and every consumer is a shopper...but this two-faced person have a different behaviour for each "face". If we think to a psichology of this world, we can talk that each human beeing have a double personality: as shopper and as consumer. Retailers and producers should pay attention to both side of the people entering their stores and consuming their products and they should take in consideration the both sides. You can have a crazy shopper but very humble consumer, it is the case of the ones who loves to have stock at home and many times the products are left somewhere in the storage place until they expire. So they buy, but they not consume...I call them "magpie" ( the bird who is looking for sparkling objects and she is storing them in their nest without eating them). At a certain moment this kind of shoppers are giving up to certain products by becoming "borred"..and they move to other products....and the producers are running crazy because they loose sales and they are wondering "Maybe our packaging is not anymore attractive or the flavour are not strong enough"....mmm...the psychology of such a shopper/ consumer..the "magpie" should be analyzed and some solution have to be found in order to make them consume what they buy. I will be back with other typologies discovered by me along the years. It is funny...but it is helpfull.
